Woman of Paradise Seeks to End Mutlilation of Girls
It was June 2006 that Kenya Native Esther Nkatha Gatuma got a disturing e-mail from a friend back home. The e-mail told of the high rate of deaths among teenage girls as a result of female genital mutilation or FGM, a procedure involving the removal of external genital organs.
